Each 3-credit course is considered a half course and each 6-credit course is considered one full course. Other Mandatory Fees are non-refundable after the start of the session. For a detailed breakdown of Other Mandatory fees refer to the Other Mandatory Fees section.

Full-time and Flex-time students enrolled in a Master’s program at Nipissing University will be charged continuous tuition and fees for the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms based on their program option and route as follows:

Fees Credit/Refund Deadline date for a complete Program withdrawal are as follows:
Fall Term - 100% before September 21, 2026 - 0% credit thereafter.
Winter Term - 100% before January 22, 2027 - 0% credit thereafter.
Spring/Summer Term - 100% before May 8, 2026 - 0% credit thereafter.

Full-time and Flex-time students enrolled in a Master’s program at Nipissing University will be charged continuous tuition and fees for the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms based on their program option and route as follows:
MRP- Full Time: Students are charged full-time fees for the first three (3) terms of registration; after three terms students may apply for extensions (if needed) on a per-term basis through the School of Graduate Studies office. If approved, students will be billed at the extension fee rate.
Flex-time (MRP): Students are charged full-time fees for the first three (3) terms of registration, and then charged student fees only for up to six (6) additional terms (terms 4 to 9); after nine terms of total study. Flex-time students may apply for extensions (if needed) on a per-term basis through the School of Graduate Studies office. If approved, students will be billed at the extension fee rate.
