Convocation
Convocation Ceremony Schedule (June 8-10, 2026)
Convocation is an important milestone in your academic journey and a time to celebrate the culmination of your hard work, dedication and contributions to the Nipissing University community.
Are You Ready To Graduate?
All students must apply to graduate during their last term of studies regardless of whether they will be attending the formal convocation ceremony. Applications for graduation are available on WebAdvisor under your Academic Profile.
The deadline to apply to graduate is May 1, 2026.
Please ensure that your mailing address is up to date on WebAdvisor.
Diplomas will automatically be mailed to those students who graduate "in absentia".
Double majors can view their majors in the Academic Profile section of WebAdvisor. The major listed first is the ceremony you will attend; for example, if you are receiving your Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History, you should attend the Sociology ceremony.
Two weeks after you apply to graduate, you will receive an email asking you to RSVP to attend your Convocation Ceremony. Please keep an eye on your student email so that you do not miss these important communications.
Please click here for more information on Transcripts.

As such it is recognized that traditional Indigenous attire may vary.
Convocation ceremonies vary between an hour and a half to two hours (1.5-2) in length.
