Optional Course Fees: $2,856.00 Tuition plus $125.66 Ancillary Fees =  $2,981.66 per 3-credit course

**UHIP - University Health Insurance Plan fees may vary based on the length of time a student is living in Canada. UHIP fees are **$792.00 for the 2025-2026 full year ($66.00 per month) and are subject to change each year.​ Paid with Fall term fees generally. Students with a January in-take will be billed in Winter term, for a 8 month UHIP fee of $528.00.

Returning Students:

*North Bay Campus only: The Bus Pass, $248.50, is a one-time mandatory charge applicable to students registered in 18 or more credits in the Fall/Winter term. Students registered in at least 9 credits in one term can elect to pay $124.25 and receive the bus pass for that term.

Tuition Fees per Term = $9,520.00 for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

Student Ancillary Fees per Term = $422.04 for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

** SIP - Student Insurance Plan = $380.00 for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Once per calendar year, normally in the Fall, depending on student intake

Balance of Degree Fee:

MRP: Students will be charged the minimum fee, regardless of completing their degree early. (Based on your programs time/terms to complete your degree as outlined).

Thesis: Students will be charged the minimum fee, regardless of completing their degree early. (Based on your programs time/terms to complete your degree as outlined).

After Thesis Defense Completed:

 $500.00 per Term (flat rate, no ancillary fees).

Fee Credit/Refund Deadline date for a complete Program withdrawal are as follows:

Fall Term - 100% before September 21, 2026 - 0% credit thereafter.

Winter Term - 100% before January 22, 2027- 0% credit thereafter.

Spring/Summer Term - 100% before May 8, 2026 - 0% credit  thereafter.

Full time Masters students can opt-in using Self-Service and pay $248.50 to receive the student bus pass. Please note: This bus pass will cover the Fall and Winter terms only and must be paid at the time of opt-in. Bus passes for Spring/Summer are available to registered students, please contact Student Financial Services for details.

Full-time students enrolled in a PhD program at Nipissing University will be charged continuous tuition and fees for the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms as follows:

PhD in Education Program: Students are charged full-time fees on a per term basis for twelve (12) consecutive terms (4 years); after twelve terms, students may apply for extensions (if needed) on a per-term basis through the School of Graduate Studies office. If approved, students will be billed at the extension fee rate.
