Biography
Dr. Anyinam obtained his BSc in Nursing and MSc. in Nursing from McMaster University and completed his PhD in Critical Disability Studies through the School of Health Policy and Management at York University.
His research interests are primarily focused on work and disability, and disability in education and clinical practice. He is currently the Co-PI of the Mid-career Workers with Disabilities (MCWD) project, a 2-year, multi-stakeholder research study funded by Canada’s Future Skills Centre. In addition, he is collaborating with researchers at York University and Ontario Tech University on projects focused on simulation for mental health education. Dr. Anyinam’s recognitions include the 2013 Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) Leadership Award in Nursing Education and the 2009 Dean's Teaching Award (Early Career) at York University's Faculty of Health.
