Technology Services (UTS) is dedicated to assisting all members of the Nipissing University community make effective use of a wide range of information technologies. Highly skilled and customer service oriented staff ensure University members are able to optimize their academic and professional endeavours through the use of technology. Technology Services is located in A139.

Nipissing College has applied for private legislation providing for the incorporation and administration of Nipissing University as a degree-granting institution and the dissolution of Nipissing College. The applicant represents that it has provided post-secondary education in affiliation with Laurentian University since 1967.

In accordance with the Nipissing University Act of 1992, the direction and operations of the University are determined by a bicameral governance: the Senate and the Board of Governors. In 2007-08, Nipissing University undertook a review and restructuring of its Senate and moved to a representational model.

Sexual Violence Prevention and Education works to build awareness about sexual violence and gender-based violence on campus and make accessible the supports and services for those who are affected. The Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator provides support to survivors, students, staff and faculty.

Our Alumni Advisory Board is an integral part of the Nipissing University community.  Alumni represent the continuity of traditions; their collective experience has shaped the University as it is today and their achievements are one of the criteria by which Nipissing University is valued.

Our objectives are achieved by various social and fundraising events, programs and services organized by Alumni Relations, in conjunction with the Alumni Advisory Board.
