The Board of Governors, which is made up of 26 members including Nipissing’s President and Chancellor, is responsible for the government and administration of the University, creating a mandate and evaluating and monitoring the progress of that mandate.

Faculty and Administrative Support Services (FASS) offers faculty and staff a wide variety of support services to assist them with their daily work. Faculty and staff have the added convenience of being able to have their work directly routed from FASS to Print Plus thereby taking advantage of the many additional services offered (see Related Links for details).

Paul Cook became the third Chancellor of Nipissing University in 2016. Born and raised in North Bay, he enjoyed a 34-year career in policing, serving as Chief of Police for the North Bay Police Service from 2004 –16, when he retired from the force and became President of Retired Badge Consulting Inc.
