The Graduate Studies Committee is the body that directs and oversees the administration of graduate education, defining what constitutes graduate education at Nipissing University, maintaining equity in program and degree standards across all academic disciplines, providing quality control over all aspects of graduate education and maintaining equity and fairness in the treatment of graduate students.

The Ontario Visiting Graduate Student Program allows a graduate student of an Ontario university (Home University) to take graduate courses at another Ontario university (Host University) while remaining registered at his/her own university.

Alumnus may be nominated in one of five categories: Dr. James Jamieson Influential Alumni Award, Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, Rising Star Alumni Award, Honorary Alumni Award, Philanthropy Award. The awards are presented during our annual alumni awards event. Awards are not necessarily presented in all categories each year.
