Nipissing University officially installed Dr. Kevin B.Wamsley as its seventh President & Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday morning during a formal ceremony at the R.J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre. 

The George and Helen Vari Foundation has donated $1 million to Nipissing University to establish the George and Helen Vari BIPOC Student Scholarship and Bursary Fund and the George and Helen Vari Simulation Fund.

Each year, Nipissing University recognizes exceptional leaders through the Dave Marshall Leadership Awards (DMLA). Help us celebrate the leaders who are inspiring change on campus and beyond by nominating a deserving student by January 31, 2025. Annually, 25 full-time students are recognized with a Dave Marshall Leadership Award. These students have made an outstanding extracurricular contribution to their academic program, to the campus, or to the greater community. They have demonstrated leadership, initiative, commitment, and an ability to motivate and influence others toward the betterment of Nipissing University.
